UCA DIRECTOR
DIRECTOR’S WELCOME
Dear UCA Parents and Students,
As the new school year approaches, I want to express my excitement and anticipation in welcoming each of you back to our school community. We've been diligently preparing to ensure that your return is as smooth and joyful as possible.
This year is particularly special for us as we continue to grow our UCA family. To accommodate our expanding student body, we've added new classrooms in the New Building, providing more space for our wonderful learners to thrive. Around the campus, you'll also notice a few maintenance updates—we've made some thoughtful enhancements to create an even more welcoming and comfortable environment for everyone.
Our teachers, too, have been hard at work over the summer. They've engaged in professional development to stay up to date with the latest and greatest teaching strategies, all aimed at better supporting our students in their learning journeys. Their dedication is rock-solid, and I am so proud of the collective effort they've put in to prepare for an outstanding start.
We're ready and eager to see the hallways filled with the energy and enthusiasm that only our students can bring. Together, we will make this year one filled with growth, learning, and memorable experiences.
Here's to a fantastic start to the school year!
Sincerely,
Rola Malaeb

UCA HIGHLIGHTS 2024 - 2025
RED CROSS
TRAINING FOR STAFF
LEGO KITS & ARDUINO TRAINING FOR TEACHERS
CHILD PROTECTION CERTIFICATION THROUGH MAIS
We are devoted to fostering a safe enviroment for the entire school community. A number of our staff members have undergone comprehensive training with the Red Cross, ensuring they are prepared to handle emergencies and provide first aid when necessary. This training reinforces our dedication to maintaining a secure and healthy learning environment.
Our goal is not only to respond effectively to emergencies but also to prevent them. By building a strong foundation of safety practices and fostering a community that prioritizes well-being, we ensure that our school remains a place where everyone can thrive.
At UCA, we are introducing Lego Kids and Arduino training for our teachers, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to effectively teach electronics and programming to our students. This initiative not only aims to foster creativity, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of technology but also encourages hands-on learning and experimentation.
By empowering our teachers with these tools, we are creating a collaborative learning environment where students can explore cutting-edge technology, apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings, and develop critical thinking skills. Ultimately, this program prepares our students to thrive in a future driven by innovation, ensuring they are well-equipped to tackle the challenges and opportunities of the rapidly evolving tech landscape.
Ensuring the safety and well-being of our students is our top priority. This summer, all our teachers completed the Child Protection Certification through MAIS, a comprehensive training that provides them with the essential skills to maintain a secure, supportive, and caring environment for every child at UCA.
We persist in our efforts to constant vigilance and proactive strategies to keep our school a place where students feel safe, respected, and encouraged to excel. By emphasizing child protection, we strengthen our commitment to the holistic development of each student, nurturing their academic, emotional, and social growth.
AI IN EDUCATION
Committed to educational excellence, our educators have achieved certifications in AI in Education. This advanced training empowers them to incorporate artificial intelligence into their teaching strategies, providing students with a contemporary and innovative learning experience.
